Lovely work girls. Well done Juliet and Tessa on the Railtoad quilt.

This is my first project...a single throw for my DD promised what seems years ago but better late than never. I know that it's a Christmas one but fabric has been around far too long. I've got my next one on the go...just using up the fabric.

Lovely quilt Juliet and Tessa, great teamwork.

Marlene, Grey's not normally my colour but I really like your quilt.

I'm in a using up frame of mind now too, I've started sewing my scraps together, one of my scrap boxes is now empty, the contents are all over my sewing table, and I'm picking and sewing, very little thought required!

Lovely colour choices Marlene. Now using up is something I must do. Alison are your scraps precut into useful sizes, shapes, etc. or are you sewing random bits together. Photo please.

Sylvia, my scraps are all shapes and sizes, I don't think a photo at the moment would be very informative, there's just a large pile of chain pieced scraps and another of the pieces waiting to be pieced.

I did make a quilt using the same method a few years ago, here's a photo of it.Contents of my scrap box

Lovely work ladies. Special mention to Juliet and Tessa - a wonderful joint collaboration. Hope that you are using it Juliet. I remember this project, although I did not participate in it.

Juliet's quilt was a pleasure to finish....it's beautifully pieced and the colours are stunning.
