Quilted swap at FoQ 2015

My FoQ gift was from Katy.

My gift is a super zipped bag containing a bundle of fat quarters and a selection of threads to match, a great travelling bag for smaller projects. I am very happy Katy so once again a big thank you for using your special fabric to make it.

My super gift was from Tessa. It is one of Tessa's tote bags made from heart printed fabric. Looks very Scandinavian. It was wraped in fabric and tied with ribbon. Also I had one of Tessa's special water colour cards. Thank you Tessa I love this gift. I'll post a photo when I get back.

I attended a workshop making Japanese Rice Bags. I loved it.

I always have trouble sleeping the first night in an hotel! I've made a mug of tea and will settle down soon.

Are we all meeting up at 12 o'clock at PP (H3), or will we miss people who are in workshops? We can move the time if it means we don't miss someone.

Lovely to meet up with you yesterday Jayne and Di. I am in workshops from 11.45 until 2.15 but will keep checking in with Katy on the pp stand.

Thank you for my lovely purple owl bag! I'm not sure who made it, but it is lovely x

It was also very useful on the way home, as the train was packed and contained a hysteric toddler. I tried to distract him by showing him all the owls on the bag and trying to get him interested in which ones had green eyes etc. It did actually work, I felt a bit bad about interfering but his Mum and Nan were getting nowhere and everyone else was being horrible about the noise, and he did calm down.

My memory card is in my laptop and camera battery is very dead, but I'll post a photo when it's charged!
