Rosemary

I really like it too. It reminds me of the little sweetshops from my childhood. Those colours together like that make me think of fruit salad chews, pear drops, floral gums, sugar almonds, gumballs, etc. It's really lovely.

Lovely Rosemary, and I agree with Diane, it's very sweet shop, like Refresher chews!

Thank you all! I spent yesterday quilting it! Because I am using "big fluffy" wadding which I really like for baby quilts especially if they're going to be used as floor mats I have not quilted it too densely.... so far hearts in all the full squares and along the outer border and the border just inside the dark pink thin one! I think that is probably all it needs! Now to see what I have left for the binding! I like pieced bindings to I will use what I have!!!

best Rosemary

This really does look great Rosemary and I like the sound of your quilting - I'm going to have to go in search of some wadding as I haven't any decent sized pieces in stock at the moment. Can't wait to see these all finished.

Cathy, your top is lovely. I wish that I could be like you. Half my brain wanted to be scrappy but the mathematical half kicked in and everything had to balance!

Your's is great too Rosemary. Looks like you are going to be the first to finish. Looking forward to seeing the photos.

Margaret
