Know what you mean Marian! We had this discussion at work the other day - huge debate whether it was worth paying for 1st class mail when 2nd seems to be getting there quicker!! Have to say we're usually ok here (Dundee) though a couple of years ago our local sorting office had huge problems just around Christmas with the mail being held up there for 6wks or more!! Was awful! Still I do think I've been very lucky with these squishies, will be interesting to see how the others fair as the year progresses!! June

I am being amazed by the Post Office today - posted 4 squishies yesterday just before lunch (all 2nd class) and 3 have arrived today!!

I'm in - found a FQ that is well suited to this challenge!!

Oh my goodness...that could be me returning from a fabric sale! That is if I had a bike and ooodles of cash!

Phew! Had a minor panic but all good and I managed to get my block done tonight! Time for some JD and Pirates!!!

I'm getting a tad confused. The pics on the forum show batting & backing - do we have to do that & quilt the block? Or am I being completely dense? I haven't done one of these before and just want to make sure I do it right

Ohhhh sounds intriguing....trouble is when I look at ugly fabric I think "cut it small & it'll be fine!" But will have a hunt to see what's there, will let you know if I find anything
