Yes,shame it's the last one tonight! Why doesn't it go on and on like the cookery programmes seem to? Really do hope they do more but pity it is so rushed!

There is going to be another series. They are recruiting for it now. I think it's been a big success.

Does anyone have a pattern or a link for quilted cup cakes? (Used to be fairy cakes and butterfly cakes when I was a girl!) Preferably those with a top that lifts up/off. I'm sure I've seen something like this - or did I just dream it? (senior moment?)
I don't know if this is the kind of thing you are looking for but there is
a gorgeous little cupcake sewing set pattern for sale on this website.
I hope the link works.

Thread: Charm Square Bag

Hi Cath,
Well, the bag was just from a regular bag pattern  made  for someone who is very much into sewing.
I knew it would probably be used as a sewing bag so I made a few things to go inside it.
I think it would make a great bag for carrying baby necessities.
Thanks for your kind words

Hi Margaret,
If only I could go to a charity shop but I'm in Spain.
However, the local markets here often have cheap bracelets and necklaces that I buy to pull apart for the beads.  Never seen anything remotely nautical though which is what I love.
Great bag - I will look forward to seeing more of your finishes.

That's just gorgeous.  I love the colours you've used.
I don't know how you were able to bear to part with it.

I love how your cushion turned out.
It looks as though that would have been a really fun project to work on.

What a beautiful bag!  The colours are stunning together.
I love that fishie bling thingy hanging from the handle.  Can you tell where you purchased it please?

Hi Katy,
My squares arrived all the way to Spain in record time.
Thank you so much I love them!

What lovely blocks Ros!  Very cleverly done too.
I spy one of the blue fabrics I sent

Oh the anticipation!  I just can't wait to see my squares.  I loved what I received in the batik swap so I know I won't be disappointed.

It must be quite exciting to see all the lovely charm squares.
I gave my package to some friends who were leaving for UK and they will mail them for me.
They should be with you later this week hopefully,

Poor pink!     Whatever has it done that no-one loves it?
I was worried for a while there that I wasn't going to get my much anticipated pink pack.
11/02/2009 11:32:17
Hi Katy,
My fabrics are washed and drying as I type.  I'll get them ironed/cut later this afternoon and in the mail tomorrow.  I am mailing from Spain so they may not get to you as fast as the others but generally mail gets to UK in around 10 days.
Also, I need an address to send my package to?
My preferences are
1) Pink
2) Green
3) Blue.
Am I the only one that loves pink?
Thread: New Swap for 2009?

Hi Katy,
Please put my name down for the charm square swap
Thank you,
08/02/2009 09:52:07
I haven't thought out the mechanics of a charm pack swap.  I'd leave that to Katy  but
the charms are usually 5" square.
If Katy decided on a theme and we all bought something like two half metres or four co-ordinating FQ on that theme and then cut them into the squares I wonder how that would work.......
I've no idea how many 5" squares we'd get out of a half metre of fabric so will leave the math to the experts!
