Hi Chris
Many thanks for your lovely cat block
Love the picture of your cats they look as if butter would not melt in their mouths
I am having fun with our cats as at the moment we have Tiggs,s 5 kittens who are yet to go to new homes they are 5 weeks old and full of fun not found their way to my sewing room yet as that is up stairs but they love exploring down stairs

Hi Aude
I did not know about the Flower Show until we saw the posters but we had to be in Keighley on Saturday for a Guinea Pig Show and this weekend we are going to the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday for The Mountbatten Festival of Music by The Royal Marines and on Sunday I am going to a workshop in Rochester so we could not have made it to the Flower Show
I was tempted with the Daylight Lamps and other craft lamps that they had on offer at the Mill Shop but decided to be good as was not sure how it would have fitted in the car as we had to take my little Micra instead of DH's estate car. I am going to look on their website and see if they have them on there.

Back from our break in Yorkshire the weather was good until yesterday when we had some rain on the drive home. We enjoyed the gardens at Harrogate and we also went to the Embsay Mill Shop that Aude told me about could not belive how many fabrics they have I was good and only brought fabric for baby and birthday quilts managed to find an alpha buddies fabric to go with the ABC Panels I brought last year so I am going to make a 1st Birthday Quilt for Maddison and hope to have enough left for next year for the 2nd grandchild's 1st Birthday. Also found some Baby Genius fabrics so I will be using them when I make a quilt from my new book 150 Blocks for Baby Quilts
Cathy I hope that you are feeling better today
Tessa hope that your knee is not so painful as it was and that it lets you sleep tonight

is that the same Remnant Shop that was in Harrogate over 30 years ago that I visited last time I wonder?
The Mill Shop sounds good I am sure I can find a route via Skipton
And I hope to be able to take a slow drive back on Monday so can shop on route home

Nice bright sunny day here in Kent today fingers crossed the weather stays nice for the weekend and that we take some sunshine with us tomorrow to Yorkshire. As we are going to Keighley and Harrogate for the weekend. Any suggestions for shops to visit to look for baby fabrics most welcome as I hope to have some shopping time on the way home on Monday as Saturday will be a no shopping day
Chole Congratulations on your baby boy hope he starts to let mummy sleep at night soon they seem to grow so fast my grandaughter is nearly 8 months and has started to pull herself up already
Tessa I hope your knee is getting better and that your garden is begining to shoot now the weather is warmer.
Katy I know a little boy who would love that bedroom and I liked the quilt

Hi
I am sorry but I can't make my up about eyes for the cats as I think it will depend on the fabrics used for the cat as with some fabrics eyes will look good but on others they may not suit so I will leave it up to you.

Thanks Tessa
I have just ordered the book off that site that begins with A
They did not tell us until they had had the 12 week scan and knew things were ok, Rob said they had something to shows us and I thought it was going to be an engagment ring but it was the scan photos.

We have had some really good news we have another Grand child due in September. We are really pleased for Rob and Megan as they suffered an etopic pregnancy last year.
I am going to order Susan Briscoes 150 Blocks for Baby Quilts as I am enjoying making blocks for the swaps so thought I would carry this on in to the baby quilt

Wish I could make it trying to twist DH's arm to drive but it is rather a long way. Only I do really need some nice baby fabrics
