Sunny greetings to all . I am after some advice for a wall hanging. It is hexagonal and I hope to add rings to the top corners to hang on picture hooks but when I pegged it onto the washing line earler the points bent fowards. Any ideas to keep it flat? TTFN Myra

Thread: ATC Swap 2015
02/06/2015 12:58:16

Dear Thimble,

My missing mojo is returning so include me for June... I hope I can manage something for an ATC. I am finishing a hexagon shaped wall hanging in diamonds and half diamonds - also called triangles, I realised! I'm adding a frame/border with diamonds and half hexagons - tacked last night watching tv.

I've mainly been using e-mail updates and not looking at the site, so I've missed the updates on ATC swaps for a while - I add it to my bookmarks.

My magazine was on the hall carpet as I have just been to a creative drop in. 1st time so just did a sketch of the floor tile pattern in the hallway using pencil crayons. Had a look through and I seem to have 2 pages with 77 on? Don't think any are missing but I will look again while eating lunch. The wardrobe is party assembled in the bedroom..... TTFN Myra

Maria and Sylvia, I am not sure what to say! I delivered my dd to Bendrigg Lodge on Saturday and collect her on Thursday. She's doing Gold DoE training before the expedition in August. 2 nights in Fell End Bunkhouse 3 camping? They canoe on Killington Lake and Windermere as well as walking the other days. One girl hadn't arrived when I left, the other was crying. I have just had a triple wardrobe, bookshelf and bedside table delivered. Hope I can assemble some so I can take the boxes off the bed to sleep tonight! I had just inserted my needle in some patchwork when the delivery knocked on the door. TTFN Myra

Dear Irene, lovely cushions. I had gone to sleep about 11 pm but was woken by the neighbours about 40 mins ago. I have come downstairs to knock on the wall to try to get them to quieten a bit. TTFN Myra

Marian, that's a great video; substitute husband/he for daughter and she. I told her this weekend that when she's off to uni or Apprenticeship in September I will be looking for a new house, next door is not for sale and they are very noisy, argue at 3 am and frighten me in my own home. The bug on my tablet seems to be fixed if this posts! Post just dropped through the letter box so TTFN all,Myra I noticed the cold with the eclipse but cloudy here, dd near Jodrell Bank with great pictures of various methods to view an eclipse

Jayne, it is the length you wrote. That's right. As Claire says it is heartfelt and the celebrations and family sharing that too are an encouragement to others. Thank you for posting Myra

You are the IT specialist - you must have changed some setting or other......?

I'm enjoying ruminating on what I can do with either or both of my heart hug sets.... both sent to our former house and one not yet unpacked!

Dear Marion, Marlene and those in between,

Lovely blocks - I like the photo on point, Marlene.

My tablet won't let me post messages of any format, so laptop out again.

Diane, you can do ATC's - may-be you could make a block?

Winnie, I am awaiting your squishie....... early next week?

I will try to update my/our photo - that's from 2010... lots has changed since then.

Dear Ange (TheHippy),

Greetings from Manchester - my cousin's daughter is a Uni In Lincoln.... Mine is at college in Cheshire. We -moved house and there is a Singer machine in the shed..... at the bottom of the garden - needs servicing before I use it - but a nice find!

There is much fun and frolics on the forum - but care and concern too, if that's what you need?

Someone will be local to that area - not sure who.

I'm hoping to sew an ATC to swap and tame Glenda's Garden block to swap soon this afternoon. It has rained this morning so I need an afternoon before the Sailor returns from Budworth Mere. (She's doing adventure sports.....)

Me too, Maria. Mine are all bright? And still in most rooms of the house and storage......

Dear Monique,

Well done - that has added a challenge. Of 15 words I would change 2:

english to English and say to tell. 13/15 and a star from me - anyone else fancy the instructions in French only! Not me!

TTFN (ta ta for now, or goodbye)
