I have just put the last stitch in to my hexie top! I will start quilting it after the weekend (visitors). I am looking forward to quilting it. photo as soon as I can.

I am in a bit of a quandry ( ? ),,, I thought my main red fabric was Spraytime by Makower..... but I could not match it to any at Exeter show last week,,,,

Any ideas any one?? Other wise I will have to reverse stitch a lot!

I went to my 'local' Hobbycraft yesterday,, I waited for quite a while for someone to come to the cutting table after I rang the bell,,, walked out with nothing! Disappointed as the fabric was what I needed!

Hi Margaret,,

The show was good albeit a bit small. Westpoint never seem to use the whole building for this show. Sandi Lush had a lot of her whole cloth quilts there, and Catherine Millar had a few. One quilt on show that I really liked was a Katherine Guerrier inspired quilt. The maker,, Linda Baldrey, had used her own scraps, samples, test blocks etc. to make it.

It was cold inside and out,, and I was cold most of the time. The only time my hands were warm was when I put on a pair of gloves to look at the quilts!!!
