That must have taken alot of time and planning most of my pictures are to big if you are using Windows i think there is a program called ms paint if you right click on your photo and 'open with'  paint i think then pick stretch and screw and then put 40 in both boxs then you need to save as ( name it  so it makes a new file) and that should be enough to downsize the file good luck thanks for getting back to me ruth

Thread: Inches or centimetres?
21/06/2008 09:34:00
Its madness I am 28 so at school was taught metric, now I am a quilter I use imperial which I find easier, my only argument is that 12" can be divided by 1,2,3,4 and 6 but 10cm can only be divide by 1,2 and 5 so I hope that people keep publishing books in both systems

I ike it too, its very clever as it seems to create an ilioustion of as spiral moveing inwards, there probably a better way of desribing that but i cant find the words today.

Thread: Washing fabrics
04/06/2008 16:57:00
i ment to say wash the seprately by hand, opps
04/06/2008 16:56:00
Just a little more about washing fabrics, becarefull of washing then in the machine as threads can catch and run , wash them seprately by and then if one bleeds then it should not effect the others, i did read somewere that washing with mild baby shampoo is good but i have not tried that yet, when they are dry or a bit damp you can then use dylon starch spay to return the fabrics to that 'shop bought' feel it also makes them easyer to cut, have fun
