Thread: Thank you everyone |

Hi everyone I have sad but good news, I think, I am leaving PP this week to start a new full time job. I have loved working for the magazine and sharing sewing and more with all of you. Thank you all for your support over the years, and for being my quilty family. I will miss you all terribly, but hope I can become a more active forum member and keep in touch with you all much easier in future. Thank you extra for the unexpected mystery gift which arrived this morning too, it made me cry but in a nice way. It is totally untraceable too, so you're very clever! I don't know what the future holds for the magazine or our website, but thank you for being part of it with me for the last nine years. Love and hugs to all. Katy |

Hi everyone, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I've had a message this morning to let us all know that Chris H has had a heart attack and died very suddenly. Chris had been a member of the birthday club and many swap groups since 2008, we will miss her very much. Her husband Geoff is obviously devastated, and I have passed on all our thoughts to him at this sad time. |

Stuart's Surgery in October was all about good teaching practise. I know it's a bit late in coming, but has anyone any other handy tips to add to Stuarts sage advice? I'm sure lots of you have experience of teaching patchwork, so it would be good to hear what you think.
Additionally, think about Health and Safety and insurance too...

Hello everyone, I'm back, and I've missed you all very much. I'm not quite better so I'm taking things slowly, but I will reply to all your messages when I've caught up with some of the magazine admin I've missed. Thanks very very much to all of you who contributed to our lovely quitls, or phoned or messaged or sent cards (and chococlate) and birthday squishies, I'm sorry not to have thanked you before, but I haven't turned the compuiter on for 6 weeks, and it did me good. I had 2000 emails to read yesterday, so I'd better crack on. Thanks for all you've done while I wasn't around, especially Rosemary, who has kept you entertained with the new swaps and calendar. I will catch up eventually, but it will take a while. Hugs to everyone Katy

They were all great. I can't identify Maria's or Donna's yet, but I think I've spotted all the others. If any of you took photos before posting them, please can we see them, as I can't crop my photos to show individual quilts very well? |
