Jayne, I have tried to look back in the threads for the PP Birthday Club 2013 but it is no longer there. I think Alison picked the birthday blocks and I am not sure, but I think a lot of the blocks would have been from the quilterscache website. However, as I didn't make the blocks, I am not sure what they are called, sorry! Maybe someone who was in the group remembers ... a bit of a long shot, but you never know! Best wishes Reenie |

Hello Eileen, I used pebbles on the cream, a pinwheel on the centre - using freezer paper ironed on and sewing round the outline. I tried a feather free motion stitch on the greens which turned out more like a fern! I felt more confident as I went on and used different colours - some stood out more than others. I also used stippling and a bit of 'in the ditch'. All in all a good exercise. It did take quite a bit of time to do it all but because I had not spent time making the blocks I felt I could spend more time quilting it. Best wishes Reenie |
