Thank you Eileen.....yes i did use a stencil...it's one of my favourites and I use it quite a lot! It's called "Promise corner" and I also used it for the butterfly shapes....I just drew the small ones and enlarged the others on the computer! Rx

I'm sorry.........I can't help you Maria......I have no experience with either!

I was chatting to Margaret(Winnie) yesterday and she suggested something she finds useful! As you know she has seizures and has always been worried about accidents as a result of them....especially with irons and ironing. She looked at one of the fancy irons....as used in the Missouri Star videos......there were 2 problems though.......they cost hundreds of dollars and then.....they don't work over here unless you spend a lot more money.....so.......! She went looking for alternatives and came up with a silicon iron rest.......which is available online from various places and costs less than £5.00!! She bought one and has been trying it out over the weekend......and is really pleased with it. She left her iron on it all yesterday afternoon......on full...without any problems!

I have been hand quilting it off and on for ages (years),and it was about time I finished it! Do you recognise it Irene? A picture will have to wait till the morning! Not enough good light now!
