Thanks Irene & Pam...no not hard at all - in fact I really enjoyed it, it was really relaxing to do...like doodling with needle & thread! Just put some time aside to have a play and you'll see how easy it is

Oh yes you can Juliet FMQ has been a real bugbear of mine and this challenge has taught me that all you need is practise...as long as you have time which is short for me at the moment! This was my sample piece and as I don't like to waste anything I turned it into a cushion. If I can do it anyone can!

This is a cushion I made from one my samples made in the FMQ Challenge that Jan has mentioned. It's been a really useful group to belong to but unfotunately life has got in the way lately and I haven't taken part in a while..There are more samples in my FMQ album.

I've been putting out feelers to hopefully reduce my hours at work in the New Year so I may have more time to do the things I love in 2013

Marian, the first thing I do when the calendar goes up at work is book my birthday off! This year it's on a Sunday so I'm taking Friday & Monday off - no plans to go anywhere, it's just nice to have some time off work

Oh my word...I forgot it was my turn too soon!! Thank you Jackie, your squishie has just arrived...how will I hold myself back for the next 4 weeks??!! I'll have to find somewhere safe to keep them now...as long as I don't forget where - I'm getting to that age now

I just got an email (no subject) with a link in it - it said 'Wow, look at this' and then the link. I was alerted by the fact it wasn't even addressed to me but also Rosemary didn't sign off in her usual way.

We went to Lacock last year Kate...just beautiful! Here are my photos on Flickr..and more here ...they filmed some of Harry Potter there and an episode of Doctor Who

We stayed on a farm in Froxfield next to a nursery called Stepping Stones...is it the same one?
