If you are visiting Malaga then you have to check out this shop in Rincon de la Victoria. Great selection of fabric and all you need for fabric crafts. Where have you been on holiday and found a fab quilting shop? Edited By Stereochild on 09/06/2016 14:34:15 |

Thank you Fay - I will keep working on my points but hmmmm!!!! And Winnie I promised not to put them back into the ufo bag (in my case! lol) Katy - working on it!!
I think I have now completed the back of my Japanese Plaid quilt. I have used up some the spare fabric from the quilt and two pieces of fabric I didn't want to use in the quilt. A morning well spent I reckon!! Then to add 'the cherry on top' for the day I received a parcel in the post with a lovely bundle of fabric from PP. Letia

Ditto Beryl - a really lovely video. I started watching Jenny back in 2012, when I got into quilting. What got me started I have no idea. Maybe it was from watching a YouTube video of Jenny?? Letia |

It's lovely thanx again Katy. I was really good last week, working on my UFO list and have now completed the quilt top of my Japanese Plaid (my name choice) quilt. Don't know what I will use for the backing or the binding. Letia |

Thread: Professional long arm quilting |
08/05/2016 20:36:47 |
Hi Laurel - I have sent my quilt away to be quilted by a shop with a long arm quilter and don't feel that it will then not be my work. I have chosen the pattern and the rest of the quilt I made on a sewing machine. I think if I had made the quilt top by hand and then sent if off to be machine sewn on a long arm quilter - that would feel like it wasn't totally my quilt and that I had lost something of the quilt. Just me I guess Letia |

That St Enodoc's church is an amazing looking place Kate. I love reading tomb stones - weird I know. Just find it interesting and gives you an idea of the past.Re Malaga - was told there are five shops there that have quilting supplies but only two are worth the visit. |
