Glad it got there safely Marion, someone in the post office must have attached a rocket to it. I only posted it yesterday!

Thank you very much Marian. On a wet, miserable Devon day it cheered me up no end to open your parcel and find this inside.

Here are all the blocks ppbc2013-blocks.jpgand here are all the cardsppbc2013-cards.jpgThanks you very much everybody. I had a lovely time opening them all.

Thank you very much everybody for the lovely cards and the beautiful blocks. The block is one I've never attempted myself but now I can see how lovely a quilt of these blocks looks I might be tempted one day to have a go..

I've taken photos of both the blocks and the cards and as soon as I work out if it's possible to upload onto here from an iPad I'll show them off in all their glory.

Once again, many thanks, I'm so glad I signed up to do this, are we doing it again next year?

Thank you to Irene, Claire, Sandy and Cathy. Your squishies all arrived this lunchtime.

As I don't get two deliveries a day I'm taking a guess that the squishy from Chris was delivered to a neighbour yesterday and redelivered this morning. Our postie is delightful but ditzy, we had several items to redeliver when we went through the post built up during our holiday. Good thing there are only five houses on our lane.

Thank you Juliet, it is so much nicer to be able to use a name than be so formal with surnames.

Thank you to the following people Mandy S, Pam C, Alison, Rosemary R, Karen E, Chris, J Robson, and Margaret for your squishes

Also to whoever lives at postcode WA4 and to Jeferies at ME12 thank you for your squishies, you haven't put names on enevelopes and I have resisted the temptation to open up to get names, please don't think I'm being unfriendly.

It was lovely to arrive home and be greeted by a pile of squishies. Made it feel as though my holiday has lasted just that bit longer.

Hi everybody

Just a quick note to let you know I'm off on holiday for two weeks from tomorrow. Should any squishes arrive while I'm away they will be well taken care of and I will acknowledge everything when I get back.

Hi Jackie

Your squishie has arrived even though my postman tried to deliver it to a neighbour! Looking forward to the end of the month when I'll be able to open it up. It will be a complete surprise as I can't remember what I asked for or even what colours I said I liked.

Hi Margaret and Alison, everything posted today and now I can leave the country with a clear conscience. I'm of to Switzerland for a short holiday and wanted to make sure your birthday gifts would be with you in plenty of time rather than scramble around at the last minute.

Oh, I was just sorting through my craft stuff today and wondering what to do with some of the collection of paint, now I have something to try. Sounds like fun.

One of the reasons I got an Accucut Go! was to cut strips. I got tired of rulers slipping, fabric moving and my unerring ability to misread the ruler and cut the wrong size strip. I have the 1.5"'2.5" and 6.5" strip cutters and have never had a wonky strip while using them. Used the 1.5" and 6.5" to cut the borders for a sampler quilt recently. All accurately cut in next to no time. For me it's one of the best reasons to have a die cutter.
