Before choosing to make her ‘Colourful Crocuses’ quilt in oranges and yellows, Chris Franses used her EQ6 computer programme to look at the same quilt in different colours.
Some of these variations were shown in the magazine at the end of the project, but necessarily as very small images. Click on these images and you can see the version larger.
As you will see, depending on the colour placement, especially in relation to dark, medium and light fabrics (as opposed to actual colours), the designs can look very different.
